We at SPSGN have continuous grooming sessions for our kids. This week was no different. A few classes had examination for first term, the other had fancy dress competition. We had overnight camp too! Details are given here for your consideration.


Fancy Dress Competition – Nursery & KG I

Water water everywhere!

The most essential element on the Earth for life to sustain. Portraying the theme - Rainy season and Marine Life, the kids of Nursery and K G I enthralled the audience by their mesmerizing performances and creative dresses ìn the Fancy Dress Competition held on 12.09.17. Ms Rushda, Principal  Happy Hours Kinder Garten School, graced the occasion as chief guest and judge. She praised the performances of the students and addressed the audience by quoting that "Fancy dress competitions are not just dressing up like the characters but it is, living the characters". It was very difficult for the judges to choose the best one as the students gave a tough competition.

Inauguration of Atal Tinkering Laboratory

NITI Aayog's Atal Tinkering Laboratory under Atal Innovation Mission, has been inaugurated in Sagar Public School to facilitate and make students as neoteric innovators in the field of SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING and MATHEMATICS. The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young children minds and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning etc. ATL is a workspace where young children can give shape to their ideas through hands on do it yourself mode and learn innovation skills by working with tools and equipment to understand what, how and why aspects of STEM( Science, technology, Engineering, Mathematics.)


Fancy Dress Competition - KG II

Scholastic and Co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for all round development of the child. Keeping this in view, Fancy Dress Competition was organised for the young sagarites of class K.G.II on 13.09.17. Children displayed their talents on the theme "HANDICRAFTS, TRIBAL AND VILLAGE LIFE". They dressed up as puppets, farmers and other handicrafts.
They emphasised on the hard work of farmers and on artist's creativity.
Ms. Shraddha Shrivastav, chief guest for the occasion praised the efforts of children and their parents. The competition proved to be a learning experience for the children and gave them a platform to boost up their confidence.


Class Assembly

The Students of class 1 A had an assembly on the topic Save TREES. Students have told about the importance of trees in our life through SKIT. All the children were understood about the importance of trees with the slogan “Each one Plant one”.

Junior Overnight Camp

The Junior Over Night Camp “Imaginarium” was organised for the students of classes I to V on 15th and 16th September and marked the huge participation of 470 campers. The fun trail to Dronanchal and Mahavir Tekri was full of excitement. The performances at the Bonfire were the main highlights of the show. The campers were provided with healthy meals and snacks during the stay. Craft activities in groups, journey to the virtual world through Magic show and team games enhanced the creativity swimming, and sports abilities of the campers. The camel and horse ride was the icing on the cake. Camp was successfully concluded with a prize distribution ceremony.


SPSGN Congratulates ALL the girls who played for the Under 17 Girls team for winning the SGFI  Badminton Tournament and qualifying for the Division level.

SPSGN has got a good number of students 18 out of 25 who got selected in PRMO (Pre regional Mathematics Olympiad). These students are qualified to appear at regional level. Congratulations to the students and the team.
