Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony of Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar for the academic session 2018 - 19 was held on July 7, 2018 with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Sh. Prafull Ku. Singh, Second in Command, SSB Academy. Principal, Dr. Jaishree Kanwar addressed the gathering and advised the students to hold the school motto of ‘Humanity is our Religion-Nation is our pride ’ in high esteem, she insisted that they must work to their optimum potential and must soar high taking the name of SPS to new heights.

The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. It was commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by a welcome song by the school choir group.
The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes by Honorable Chief Guest, Siddharth Sir, Madam Principal, Dean Sir and Vice Principal. The Students’ Council took the pledge to hold the school motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem. Sh. Prafull Ku. Singh, congratulated them and advised them to be impartial,disciplined and honest in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values. Shri Siddharth Sudhir Agrawal addressed the prefectorial team and guided them to be the role models and render their responsibility sincerely as the nation builders of tomorrow and be proud to be an Indian. 

The students with outstanding results in CBSE Board were also awarded. An appreciation certificate and cash prize of Rs. 50,000 was given to the school topper Ms. Trisha Agrawal for getting 5th position among the city Toppers. Priya Badola of class XII was awarded with “Shanta Samman” and a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 was given to her for becoming the Girl Topper and qualifying NEET. Parents of the office bearers and awardees held their head high with pride and admired the efforts of the school wholeheartedly. A mesmerizing dance performance added delight to the atmosphere. As an ecofriendly gesture all the guests were presented a sapling. The function concluded with the Plantation Drive wherein the Students’ Council planted a plant and took a vow towards a Greener India.
