Abhishek Singh
Lieutenant Commander
Batch : 2015
Greetings! I'm Abhishek Singh, a proud alumnus of the 2015 batch of Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar. Hailing from Bhopal, I joined SPS in 2012 in Grade 9 after completing my early education up to Grade 8 in Uttar Pradesh.\r\n\r\nJoining SPS was a pivotal moment in my life. The school provided me with abundant opportunities to grow, develop, and refine my skills. It served as a strong foundation that significantly influenced the direction of my academic and professional journey.\r\n\r\nAfter graduating from SPS in 2015, I pursued a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Lovely Professional University, Punjab. During my final year, driven by a long-standing aspiration to serve the nation, I joined the Indian Navy. Alongside this, I also secured placements with two IT companies.\r\n\r\nMy naval career began at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, and my first posting was in Visakhapatnam. Over the course of 5.5 years of dedicated service, I rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. I am currently serving as the Assistant Electrical Officer aboard the stealth frigate INS Sahyadri, stationed in Visakhapatnam.

Rashmi Kumari
Credit Officer @ PNB
Batch : 2018-2019
It feels like just yesterday that I joined SPS Gandhi Nagar in August 2013. My school journey has been incredibly memorable, and I still find myself missing it till date. Whenever I hear the name "SPS," it instantly reminds me of "My Alma Mater." This institution not only supported my academic growth but also played a significant role in shaping me as a person. The dedication, confidence, and attitude I developed during my time at school were invaluable. I want to express my gratitude to my teachers and classmates who supported me throughout this journey. I attribute my success to my beloved school and its wonderful teachers. The transition from a “mediocre student to a Credit Officer” would not have been possible without your guidance.

Shiva Gupta
Senior Software Engineer at Confluent
Batch : 2016-2017
Hello! I'm Shiva Gupta, a member of the 2016 Batch. Originally from Sehore, I started my journey at SPS in the 9th grade in 2012. After two years, I took a break in 11th grade to explore another school but returned in 2015 to complete my 12th at SPS.\r\n\r\nComing from a small town, SPS provided me the exposure and opportunities that greatly transformed my experience. I represented the school in quizzes and inter-school table tennis competitions, and I even learned to swim during my time there. It was an environment filled with learning, growth, and lots of fun.\r\n\r\nIn 12th grade, I successfully passed the JEE Advanced, gaining admission to IIT Roorkee, where I pursued a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering at one of India's most prestigious institutions, one of the original five IITs, and graduated in 2020.\r\n\r\nI began my professional career at Nutanix, where I had the opportunity to intern during college and received a pre-placement offer. I worked there for two years, got promoted within 1.5 years, and even won an internal hackathon. In 2022, I joined Confluent, where I currently serve as a Senior Software Engineer, working on innovative software in the data streaming field.\r\n\r\nMy Life Mantra: "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you may still land among the treetops."

Amulya Agarwal
Chartered Accountant
Batch : 2020-21
My journey from being a school student to becoming a Chartered Accountant has been both challenging and rewarding. The values I learned in school—discipline, perseverance, and hard work—have been my greatest assets throughout this journey.\r\nAfter finishing school, I embarked on the CA course while also pursuing my graduation. The road was demanding, filled with rigorous exams and a three-year article ship that offered invaluable real-world experience in finance, auditing, and taxation. Balancing academics with practical training was no easy feat, but my persistence kept me motivated.\r\nSuccessfully clearing the CA Final was a moment of immense pride, reinforcing the idea that dedication and consistency truly pay off. To all aspiring CAs: stay focused, embrace the challenges, and trust the process. Success will come your way!
