Art & Craft
We strongly believe that art plays a crucial role in building self-esteem and confidence of Sagarites, enabling them to go on to be creative, thoughtful members of society. The imagination and creativity of young minds of our Sagarites are guided and given proper shape in the Department of Art and Craft under the able guidance of the experienced teachers.
Atal Tinkering Lab
Sagarites in ATL work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. To empower our students with the 21st century skills of creativity, innovation, critical thinking, design thinking, artificial intelligence, the ATL contains educational and learning “do it yourself kits” and equipment on Science, Electronics, Robotics, Open-source microcontroller boards, Sensors and 3D printers and Computers.
The students get ample exposure for competing in innovative competitions at State and National Levels organised by Government of India.
Auditorium
The school has a huge state-of-the-art multipurpose Auditorium. It is equipped with the most modern and audio visual facilities and a massive seating capacity to give exposure to the students in showcasing their talents and groom their inborn virtues.
The sound proof auditorium hosts numerous events including seminars, sessions, celebrations and Inter School Competitions. It is well furnished with a projector, effective & modern light and sound system and air conditioning.
Chemistry Lab
Chemistry Lab provides a controlled condition with well maintained apparatus and instruments to understand science of matter, its composition, structure and properties. The lab is equipped with proper gas connections, water supply and ventilation. Development of practical skills in Chemistry not only leads to learning of scientific concepts but is also instrumental in developing scientific attitudes, besides reinforcement of learning.
Classroom
We have large, bright and airy classrooms with fully integrated teaching and learning tools that makes learning funfilled and fascinating. The special classrooms to which every student has access are equipped with interactive boards. The school collaborates with TATA ClassEdge for digital support.
Computer Lab
Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar is pioneer in providing latest technological advancements to the students. School is using computer aided learning with latest Computers to aid in learning programming, coding, animations and making video clips. Softwares based on CBSE curriculum for the Classes I to XII are installed on the server. Tabs are used as a diagnostic and educational tool to train our students to become technically competent.
Indoor Games

At SPSGN, we deliver extensive sporting facilities to ensure the holistic development of every child. The school encourages students to pursue an active lifestyle, and provides the latest facilities for all sports and games to cater to their social, physical and emotional growth. Sports Enrichment gives a myriad opportunity to our students to develop their forte in their chosen sport. Regular competitions are conducted to instil a competitive spirit in our students. Numerous opportunities are provided to the students to participate and excel at district, state and national level.
Infirmary
The well being of our Sagarites is of utmost importance. The school is facilitated with an Infirmary - Medical Room which is fully equipped to render first aid in case of any emergency.
The school infirmary is well equipped with the necessary materials and facilities to address any health needs of the students in school. However, if the child needs any immediate special medical attention, parents are informed for the same.
Kids Zone
For our tiny tots, we have a dedicated large play area with an indoor toy library, see-saws, sandpits and swings. Artificial grass with foam flooring is provided in the indoor play area for the safety of the children. Outdoor trampoline, Soft play areas and toys provide a variety of activities and opportunities for exploration.
Library

The School Library is open to all the bonafide students of the school. It is well equipped with more than 15000 books in different subjects. The library is also equipped with computers and internet for facilitating the students. It has two sections for reading and stacking. Monthly Library activities are organized to develop inclination towards reading. The library also has Audio-Video CDs and resource material related to subject teaching, environment, literature, dance, music, art and many more.
Maths Lab

Students are able to construct knowledge on their own with the guidance of their teachers at our Mathematics Lab. This is the place where students discover Mathematics by solving puzzles, using teaching learning aids and innovative Mathematics models. hese activities develop analytical and reasoning abilities that foster inquisitiveness and lifelong learning.
Mess
A well maintained, hygienic and well-furnished mess with expert cooks serving children healthy and sumptuous food is another attraction of the school. A large modern kitchen is attached to the mess hall. It ensures that the diet is wholesome, vegetarian, nutritious and well-balanced. All the material is procured from renowned shops in the city and only quality material is brought inside the mess stores.
Montessori
The Montessori method of education is based on self-directed learning and hands-on activities with scientifically designed material that aims toward the holistic development of the child. The Montessori method of teaching is based on the philosophy, observation, and study of Dr. Maria Montessori. The Montessori Method offers freedom of movement and choice to the child, which leads him to the path of precision in whatever he does. The specially curated material helps the child to fulfill his inner urge, attain mastery in his gross and fine motor skills, and pincer movements, and prepares him for other developmental activities. It covers all areas of life as Dr. Montessori believed everything in the world should be offered to the child. And that’s why Montessori Education offers self-directed material from all fields like Language, Arithmetic, Sensorial, Science, Geography, History, etc. at a such young age which provides excellent exposure to children.
The Montessori education method helps the child become self-disciplined, independent, and socially aware, develop a love for elders, respect towards one's and others’ property, care for the environment, self-aware, a sense of dignity, and helps in creating ideal citizens for better tomorrow.
Montessori materials are very important agents of the Montessori Education methodology. It aims to cultivate and increases concentration by virtue of repetition. Some material reflects the local culture whereas some are universal. The material attracts the child to work with it. The material leads the child to the path of self-assessment.
Music Room
Music and melody reverberates in the corridors when the students sing with their heart's content in the Music and Recording rooms of the school. SPS Gandhi Nagar boasts of a perfectly equipped Music and Recording room with an array of musical instruments that provide a perfect ambience for fostering the creative talents of the young Sagarites.
Physics Lab
A well designed and equipped lab with working models to train students for taking measurements, analyzing data and drawing inferences while the students explore and experiment.
Play Area
Play is important for a child’s development and learning. It isn’t just physical. It helps to develop cognitive, imaginative, creative, emotional and social aspects of a child. It is one of the important ways that most children express their impulse to explore, experiment and understand.
We at SPS GN offer outdoor a lush green play area with specially designed play- equipments for the students.

Swimming Pool
Our school campus is facilitated with two swimming pools – junior and senior pool, the sanitary & hygienic conditions of which are especially taken care .Children are trained by the certified and well approachable coaches. The changing rooms both for girls and boys are spacious and equipped with requisite amenities. Every class has a period allotted for swimming in its timetable. A pool is specially designed for our little ones and qualified trained lifeguard to ensure the safety of the child.
Tab Station
To facilitate e-learning a Tab Station is set up in the school. Tabs are used as diagnostic and educational tool.

Vaccination

To ensure good health for our school students, the school conducts Health Check-up Programmes associated with reputed hospitals in the city. It is a commendable effort of the school management in the direction of cultivating healthy habits among children and thereby aiding in making a healthy future generation. The programme includes Primary health check-up and providing suggestions to take essential treatments if necessary. Vaccination Drives in the school premises for students and staff in collaboration with the District Health Department are a regular feature.
Yoga

Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. It enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness, resulting in improved concentration, sense of calmness and relaxation.
Yoga classes are given a place in the regular school curriculum which has helped students to address many of the challenges like emotional regulation, improved academic performance, reduced anxiety and tension, resilience to handle stress etc.
Amphitheatre
The amphitheatre at SPS GN is an open-air venue for cultural events, in-house competitions, scholastic and co-scholastic activities, sports and many more. The amphitheatre is surrounded by lush greenery which gives beautiful ambience and feel to the campus.
Composite Lab
Science is a systematised study based on facts and observation. It involves curiosity, inquisitiveness and unbiased analysis. The Composite Lab provides facilities and opportunities for students of Classes III to VIII in carrying out experiments and activities in all Science subjects. Students have facilities to perform experiments, to measure data and to analyze results so as to match their practical observations with theoretical knowledge.
Dance
The school has state of the art sound proof dance rooms, with qualified and experienced trainers for Classical, Folk and Western Dance. These Dance studios are well equipped with necessary technical instruments where children are trained in various dance forms. Students are encouraged to develop their talents and skills from an early stage.
Remedial Class
Students need to mentored as per their capabilities and learning aptitude. Hence, school conducts Remedial Classes for students who require extra attention and care. As a teacher, we cater to the needs of students so that they can come at par with the other students of the class. At SPS Gandhi Nagar, we offer a strong remedial program that provides Sagarites knowledge and a fair chance to have differentiated mode of teaching and learning.
Transport
The need for safe passage of each child to school and back inhabitation is of utmost importance to the school. The school has its own fleet of buses to ensure safe travel of the students. The buses are designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel who are well aware pertaining to the needs of small children.
Our buses are equipped in accordance with all the rulings of Supreme Court. Students are accompanied by a conductor, female caretaker for small children and teacher in the buses. The transport facility of SPS is also equipped with a GPS and CCTV surveillance system. The safety of the students is most important hence adequate care is being taken for safety of students.
For better communication and proper efficiency in service, communication device in form of cell phones have been provided in each bus. This enables school management to efficiently handle all sorts of travel related contingencies. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management.
Biology Lab
The Biology Lab at Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar touches all aspects of Science. It is a well-equipped lab with all the latest equipments for students to study detailed structure, morphological, histological and physiological aspects of plants and animals. Students get a hands-on experience on handling compound and dissecting microscopes and in preparation of microscopic slides. The lab is upgraded with museum specimens to study the characteristics of it.
